We are pleased to welcome Todd Rowe, Partner from Constangy Brooks, Smith, and Prophete LLP.
Todd is a key member of the Constangy Cyber Team, where he focuses on leading investigations and assessing potential data breaches. With over two decades of experience as a litigator, he has also worked extensively on privacy issues within the insurance industry. Notably, he contributed to drafting one of the earliest versions of a cyber insurance policy form.
In recognition of Ethics Awareness Month, Todd will be sharing insights on the ethical considerations surrounding data breaches. While many of us can easily visualize a data breach—some of us may have even experienced one firsthand—the broader implications can be far-reaching. How are businesses legally and ethically required to respond to those impacted by a breach? What are the ethical and legal ramifications of paying a ransom? At what point do various regulatory agencies step in, and how does their involvement shape the response? Todd will help unpack these critical questions.
This event is FREE to all CPCU and non-CPCU Society Members. Active Members will have CE Credits for CPCU in Good Standing automatically reported following event attendance.
